SARN Constitution
The purposes of the Society are:
- To discover and share search-related resources and information, fostering a supportive network for individuals, families, and communities dealing with the distress of a missing person, with the goal of working towards a resolution.
- To research, facilitate, and share education and training in search and recovery techniques, enabling both inexperienced and experienced searchers to improve search effectiveness and safety.
- To equip both inexperienced and experienced volunteers to participate safely and effectively in searches.
- To promote public awareness and understanding of the issue and impact of missing persons, and to foster community engagement in resolution efforts through activities such as education campaigns, community outreach, and social media campaigns.
